Welcome aboard the USS Nautilus, a Ronin class Strike Cruiser tasked with exploring the area of space around the crumbling Dominion in the Gamma Quadrant

The Dominion War is a thing of the past, nine years have passed since the bloodiest conflict in recent memory and the Federation stands on the precipice of uncertanty. The Klingon, Cardassian and Romulan Empires are in ruins, and Dominion, an entity that has existed for thousands of years, is crumbling. Peace is finally a possibility, with the Federation the dominant power in the known galaxy. That doesn't mean that there is no danger however. This is space after all and space is a dangerous place.
For the first time since First Contact with the Dominion, the Federation once more has a presence in the Gamma Quadrant, though not entirely diplomatic. The Federation turns to Peace Enforcement, to ensure that the Dominion adheres to the terms of the surrender, while also exploring a region of space otherwise unknown to them.
The USS Nautilus is at the forefront of this new mission. One part Warship, one part Peacemaker. There is no illusions, the Nautilus is a ship of war, like many of her namesakes. But this new Nautilus travels the stars, protecting those who cannot protect themself, and to push back the boundaries of the frontier.
Even if trouble finds her, the Nautilus is very much a ship of peace. She is an explorer, a diplomat, but one that can defend herself if necessary. She is the largest ship to bear the name, and like many of her namesakes, she is on the very forefront of an ever changing galaxy.

The player of Rodger Quinn has left the ship. all posts including him have been altered to reflect this.
That was disappointing but somewhat expected.

Hey Everyone.
We will be starting our next mission at the start of March. so can you please wrap up any outstanding posts as we are moving on.
I would have liked to have seen another officer join the ranks, but it doesn't seem to be materialising at the moment, so we will have to make do.
So remember, March 4th will begin the Mission 'Intrigue and Lace' where we delve even further into the murky underbelly of the Federations new colonies.

As the new year has begun, it is aware that we are down a few department heads.
At this point we are needing the following Department Heads:
Flight Control
Operations
Engineering
Science.
As well as general crew so if you know anyone that is interested, please point them in our direction
