Finding out a few things.

Commander Christopher Abney's Personal log,Star Date supplemental.
I have gone to Terok Nor and had my meeting with Mr. Julian Bashir. He contacted me shortly after I was assigned to the Vanguard as XO. To tell the truth I was expecting Mr. Bashir to be the captain of this vessel. I was quite surprised when I found out he was not and instead it was this Taloc Hagen a Betazoid....An Alien. Well no matter I go where I am ordered to go. At any rate I mentioned Bashir had contacted me.. He had information about a supposed "Lost Fleet" that was the Empire's secret and possible last defense in the case of a falling empire. The fleet was supposed to meet up with the rest of Star Fleet in sector 001. They however did not show. It was rumored for years that there was a renegade imperial fleet harassing the Alliance. However no ships of Terran origin had been destroyed or captured by the Alliance in the last 13 years. Bu t Bashir showed me his proof and the said fleet could be somewhere between Terok Nor and in and around the Badlands. What with such a large area to search he supplied me with a computer program that will allow me to pick up any and all hidden Imperial signals that these ships should be transmitting. He also supplied me with a data disk containing the command activation codes for two of the ships,The ISS Independence,(A Vengence Class Ship with experimental MVAM computer and components already installed) Also the command codes for the ISS Cumberland,(A Galaxy Re-fitt X Class).

Also since my return I have been informed that there was an...Issue in main engineering involving Lt. Williams, The new Chief Engineer and our political officer Bladesister Kiara Harford. He was informed that said Chief engineer bypassed the chain of command and went directly to the captain with this issue.When plainly it should have come to the XO first as the discipline of the crew falls under the XO's job requirements. I have decided not to mention this to anyone yet...I will ask Lt. Williams why she went around me and I will explain to all who require an explanation, That as I said discipline on this ship is my responsibility and I will punish those who need it.
