T’Lana nodded politely to the man who had shown her to her station as she left for the interrogation. She brought with her two PaDDs, one in case she was called upon to record a statement, the other for taking notes. She made her way through the cavernous corridors, nodding politely to those she passed, so that she could gauge their reactions. While only few looked on her with outright hostility, she found many of the Terrans simply refused to acknowledge her. If they were trying to give offence, they were wasting their time; as a Vulcan, she was not capable of such an emotion.

She found it mildly curious when she found herself back at her quarters; it was not the destination to which she was walking. She became dizzy, a side
effect of her disability…

Agent 13-2301 quickly got to work at her console. She had already secured her quarters and set up a secure frequency to make her reports. She did not want to be late for the interrogation, but she needed to send out one quick report: ‘I am now in position on the ISS Vanguard, please find attached schematics for the ship and weapons systems. Will send personnel files at a later time.’ Then she hurried back out into the hall.

…the disorientation finally passed, and the Vulcan looked at her quarters with confusion. How curious that she had come here. She knew it would be illogical to dwell on it, and so she made her way to the security office.
