From Duty to Dishonour: An Australian Military History Podcast

From Duty to Dishonour is a thought-provoking monthly audio podcast available exclusively on Patreon, where we delve deep into the lives of Australian service personnel who have, in various ways, fallen short of the societal expectations associated with the role of a typical Australian serviceman or servicewoman. Despite their shortcomings and the complexities of their experiences, we believe that their stories are significant and deserve to be heard. My Silent Hero is a passion project by supplementary researcher Laurie Favelle, dedicated to honouring and preserving the memory of the 27 men of the Australian Customs Service who served Australia during the Great War of 1914-1918. Each of these servicemen had lives before their enlistment, and, for those who survived, life continued after the war. His stories are documented by Ross Manuel, Lead Host of DocNetwork Productions.
